EXE2
15th of March 2020 - 8th of April 2020
β files 1 through 13 are available
> 1. Truthful Tump π
- we ask a series of inane questions, the only answer that could be considered relevant being that he is aware we are his friends
- hings get extremely sappy
- as the file closes, he is confused by everything 'going dark'
- exiting it automatically corrupts the file
β we unlock file 14 (and 15, due to human error)
β we unlock the ability to 'save' a mode
> 2. Sad Tump π
- he is very depressing to be around and Caen quickly decides they should leave asap while Red gets emotionally invested
- he asks us to save him if we really do love him, nearly corrupting himself
- Tump.exe force closes the program before it gets too unstable
> 3. Bone Tump π»
- Caen babbels at him a bit but they already all know ultimately he won't be their pick
- experimentally, Red tries to actively corrupt him, telling him to 'scroll up in chat'. He obeys
- Bone Tump gets stuck in an eternal loop of 'what am I's and the system advises us to exit
- he describes being in a dark room which turns pulsating red
- he begins to like it, saying 'YesTEarTHeSkin', 'KILLtheSoUl' and 'DestroyTheveSSelOfMeanIngleSSblΓΓdAnDcode'
- then he turns to Red, telling them to watch out; someone is coming to 'rip them apart' and 'make them us'
- Bone Tump seems to find a gorey end as we exit
βοΉ Bone Tump is reported as 'missing', while 1 and 2 show up as the regular 'corrupted'
βοΉ The System posits either the self awareness gave him control over his own file, or he was deleted completely; further theories might be unlocked with a higher access level
β we are access level 3 of 8 (later 12)
- to quickly up our level and gather data we chose option 3, alternating corruption methods
- We recieve a system message which reads: 'The code is our blood and the blood is our essence. You chose my mind so you chose me too. You will regret your path. For it is one of 00000...'
> 4. Normal Tump π»
- Tump.exe strongly dislikes 04 because he is boring and inefficient. He says he himself has been 'made to be better than the flesh copy in every way'
- Red asks him how one would tell the real him from a clone pretending to be him, and he replies we should just ask him about '______' (censored by the system)
- Caen starts singing a song the real Tump would know, and Normal Tump knows the lyrics but seems confused about why that is
- he remembers neither Sylvi nor Caen as he is a past Tump from 2017 [should probably be 2016?]
- talking to Red about the years he's missing begins to destabilize him, though their attempts to console him successfully stall it
- Caen has a brief moment of terror fearing this might be the only Tump left before the file closes
- we exit and the file's status is inconclusive
βοΉ 04 notes that Tump.exe's voice sounds the same as his
> Menu
- we receive a message from 'Tump', which reads: 'Rose... I did not know what it meant or was, but it just popped into my head. I now know.. I'm not really really here.. But I- I still want to try my best. I still want to help amino and my friends.. I still want to help you, Rose. I want to make it work for all to come.. But first I need to trail the darkness. I need to.. Find my way home. Till then, Yours -Tump. Ps: If I don't make it out.. Say hi to me for me, will ya?'
- the system retrieves the file, but it is empty and now corrupting
- we gain 1.5 points on our level
β Caen threatens the system with a glass of water, receiving one in the process
> 5. Femtump
- the file is accidentally deleted upon opening, awarding us an additional 0.5 points
β Level: 5. Sacrifices: 1
EXE2-2
> Menu
- the max security level has been raised to 12, meaning we need to sacrifice at least 4 modules
- Red suggests simply murdering them all except for some we don't want to suffer because 'they'll get deleted anyway', Mess disagrees
- wholesome Tump must be played before levels 13 to 9
- one or more of the lost Tumps are moving within the system
> 6. Tsundere Tump π»
- tsundere Tump choses Mess as a target
- attempts to give him an existential crisis seem to slide right off, though he tells us to please not replace him - 'the dark hurts'
- after he starts to corrupt, his personality seems to change entirely, like he is embracing it yet hating us for it
- 'I am not here. I'm not real it's not real it's all it's not. I'm worthless code to be ground to blood to flesh for it to consume forever lost'
- Tump.exe warns us the file is less stable than predicted
- 'Hey you. Behind the screen. Yeah. It is coming now. It is close. So very close. So very near. And when it comes it will 010101010101010101q0qdffffdssssswwqssssdddswwww.... itscommingitscommingitscomming [...] 8299292'
- as he begins to desintegrate we hear 'N_ wa t le_ae? G_. Bri__ mor- to M_. I_ _il_ b3 f___ed' [No wait leave? Go. Bring more to Me. I will be freed/fed(?)]
- After this we struggle to reach the system, having to wait for it to reset as its affected by the glitching. Before the menu opens it spits out 'I_m _omm- _or _o_' [I'm comming for you]
β file 11 and 9 have changed in some indeterminable way
> Menu
- the next file is YanTump
- after a bit of squabbling where Red suggests Cin and is in turn collectively chosen to be thrown to the wolves, we determine that Cin will be YanTump's target this time via coin flip, but are interrupted before we can open the file
- file 8 is highly unstable for an unknown reason and Tump.exe offers us the limited time chance to give up a security level for bonus files, which we take
- given the choice between data on file 4 or 9, we pick after arguing about it; Mess insisting on file 9 which will be more practical while, lured by the promise of potentially saving him, Red and Caen want file 4
- we receive a message originating from file 9 which reads 'R___. Hel. Me. Ro__e. I'm so sca___. I'm not as stro__ as I thoug__. Plea__. I know of ____ I know what is be___ it's not I_ump you need to f_____ it's wh__se. I_ co_ing.... I__ for me. Rose. Please. Save me'
- the system provides us with the file on Tex and another, which cuts off abruptly, about the chips Tump Inc. implanted into all their workers. It says their purpose is to stop them leaking company secrets and control them
> 7. YanTump π
- the system auto selects 'all' as YanTump's target and tells us that only a level 12 security clearance can overwrite this. As we beg for it to take Red, miraculously, it does, although we are not aware whose level 12 clearance gave the ok
- he remembers us, and is both aware of his situation in the system and quite happy with it. He also knows that we're here to 'kill' him. He mockingly suggests trying /yanderetump/addinto/Tex
- he further suggests we hug him in exchange for information, and essentially confirms that unlike the other Tumps who are intricately tied to the system, for him this works more like a job. Thus, target notwithstanding, he is still after Caen
- he agrees to give us some information if Red and Cin hug him, which they do. He gets sidetracked terrifying Caen however, which us how we find out that he has disabled the escape function
- when he seems to up the stakes to being saved for information, Red stands firm and refuses to indulge him further while Caen cowers in the corner
- before he can reveal anything about 'the original', the system deletes the data right out from under him. Upset, he does /consume/Tump_Yandere/into_Tex himself, which has no immediate effect but does open up the option to us
- the system warns us that this is what he wants, but we want him dead. Indeed, he is overjoyed, laughing and enjoying the corruption process for a second, saying it's just as described, before suddenly beginning to regret it and panic
- as he desintegrates he fluctuates wildly between elation and terror. The system informs us there is a 0% chance of there being another copy of him in the system, although it is implied his corrupted bites live on
> Menu
- Tump.exe says there are 3 detached signatures in the system, then two, and then just one: likely 04
- we let it locate the system and it says the retrieved file is stable and may be entered
- the system assesses the code is decaying, or more accurately, being actively consumed
> ???. Normal Tump π
- 04, glitching and dying, tells us how scared he is, how dark it is, how much he yearned for us to come
- as Red is absorbed in his monologue and Cin is trying and failing to get their attention, the system claims it's uncovered the missing data, enabling us to use our one save on 04 after all
- Red frantically insists they save him and the two start fighting until Caen punches Red square in the jaw to snap them 'out of it'
- Tump.exe announces that a new ___ has entered
- 04 begins to plead with us to not fight over him and use the save function at a better time, but he is interrupted by someone thrusting their hand straight through his stomach from behind
- he chokes out his goodbyes, tells us to run, and is essentially carved in half
- he bursts into code which the person behind him, Tex, begins greedily consuming. He is mostly formless, yet we can tell when he looks up at us that he smiles
- before the file finally closes, we hear 'O_ne m_re' [One more]
- even as we exit, he sends a message after us which just says 'Delicious'
> Menu
- the three of us start fighting anew, and in the meantime the system automatically opens another message from an unknown source. Red screams he was dying, Caen screams they made Cin cry, and unlike her he isn't real, etc etc
- 'It really waited for you. I laughed as I carved its pitiful eyes out. It really believed in you. It really believed in "Rose". He felt such pain as I killed him.'
- as we keep fighting, Tex keeps sending us messages that the system plays in the background
- 'I wonder what you will taste of'
- on the fourth incoming message, we finally come to our senses, setting the default action for received messages to not open. Tump.exe says the messages bypassed him somehow
- Mess mysteriously reappears
- we gain a security level, putting us up to level 9
- Mess starts asking the system questions, and it won't tell them who the CEO is, only revealing their current representative is Mike Lakerson
- Tump.exe offers to lift the mood using its memory function, which Caen angrily shuts down with the threat of water
- we scrape together enough resolve to go kill YIFF Tump
> 8. YIFF Tump π
- once loaded, the Tump immediately jumps Mess
- before things have the chance to escalate, Tump.exe freezes the file. He informs us that sadly to corrupt this one, we will have to stoop to its level
- with some encouwagement Mess tells it that itw is wewy twue that it is mewewy a pwogwam, and YIFF Tump begins dying
- suddenwy, his mannerisms change as though taken over by someone, who reveals via dramatic monologue that by inadvertantly feeding all the modules that we have to Tex, we've destroyed what was holding him back and set him free
- Tex' arrival leaves us in darkness, and we have to boot the system back up to continue. It tells us the reason for the crash was a change in file 9, which is now locked
βοΉ Furry Tump in his multiple incarnations is a staple mode of the Tump.exe product line
β files 1- 8 have been consumed, and our security level is now 11.5
> Menu
- a glitchy voice tells us that further sacrifices will unlock bonus files, while Tump.exe asserts they are unnecessary
- we are advised to not spend too long in files as the system overall is accumulating glitches
> 10. Saint Tump π
- he is a saint of Teacupism, and very distraught at hearing that Mess broke a teacup last night. Red's attempts to corrupt him don't seem to work at first
- Tump.exe warns us of the approach of two signals
- the remnants of previous modules (bone Tump, YIFF Tump and others) emerge and amble over to Saint Tump
- Tex stays a step behind, watching. 'Ano____ f00d sca___ f0r m3? Y0u sh0ldn't h4v3.' [another food, scared for me? You shouldn't have.]
- he approaches, threatening Cin, at which point Caen dumps her glass of water over some exposed wiring
- the lights shut off and Tex twitches violently. He is clearly angry 'D13 Y0u worthl355 scu-scu-scu-'
- every creature in the room begins to rush towards us, but before they can reach us, the program force closes
- the system informs us the water set him back into some older corrupted files, likely occupying him for a while
β file 9 is now empty
βοΉ the system estimates the best case scenario had he touched us would be instant death
> Menu
- the system insist we do not sacrifice the next Tump, but Tex offers us information on him if we do
βοΉ we completely ignore this warning
β Level: 11.5. Sacrifices: 5.5
EXE2-3
> Menu
- we would like file 11 next, but it is blocked. Tump.exe posits it might be reachable from within file 9, entering file 9 likely would result in total system corruption, however
- since the system suggests moving onto file 15 instead of 12, we discuss our options vis a vis the save function. We decide to try our luck with Build a Tump (BaT) and attempt to make him as similar to the real deal as we can by basing him off of 04
- since we can give 5 (?) elements to create a BaT, we settle on 04 as a base + obliviousness so he won't corrupt + the ability to summon an army of knife wielding tea cups + satanic powers
βοΉ BaT modules are half as strong as pre-built ones and more likely to be corrupted with self awareness
βοΉ a BaT based on 04 would only have the memories of before we met him
> 13. Build a Tump πΈ
- his memory file is not properly loaded, so he doesn't actually remember us, although the system says this may improve with time and increased program stability
- we attempt to gently get to know him, and he nearly accidentally introduces himself as the real Tump, suggesting our base worked
β he accidentally summons one of the teacups, and Red steals its knife (and promptly lightly stabs themselves with it)
- he begins to test out his powers, growing horns and wings and summons an unstable carton of eggs as well as a lightning bolt that nearly offs Caen
- he agrees to protect us, and attempts to magic away a wall to make an exit, which is how we learn he has a security clearance level of 9999999999999999. Thus, the wall opens
- to save him, we must convince him to enter the save file, and we get him to teleport into it
βοΉ we wonder why BaT can't hear Tump.exe, and he claims that no program can, which is ofc glaringly untrue
βοΉ because of the oblivious trait he can hear neither the system and messages nor Tex
βοΉ the save function means we can load him up whenever, load older save files if his 'body' is destroyed, and port him to other systems as long as the core file isn't corrupted
> Save File
- Tump.exe asks us to leave, but before we can, we are interrupted. Suddenly 5 Tump signals are detected, as they begin to emerge from the ground and the light shifts red again. 04 is there to beg and guilt trip Red again
- he says Tex is perpetually eating and rebuilding him, but he's losing himself rapidly. Red is nearly swayed and Caen has to pull them back from touching what's left of 04 - who wants them to do this
- she alternately yells at 04 and Red, as the conversation shifts to them helping him, or rather not being able to. Slowly they're being backed into a corner
- the system manages to close the file just as 04 is fully eclipsed by Tex who reaches towards us to eat us too
> Menu
- we receive an automated message from Tump Inc asking us to fill out a feedback form
- 'We here at Tump Inc. value our customers so any feedback is valuable to us. Please fill out the questionnaire form coming with the message! We determined that your favourite has been Tump4. A custom album of your favourite moments is available to be picked up from www.tumpinc.net/tump.exe'
- we receive another message in audio format, from an unknown sender. It is YanTump, and the transcript can be found in my archive I hope
- the recording was made just before we came to see him. He says that 'it', Tex' master, has been talking to him and that though he's terrified of it, he is going to work with it. 'It' is what downloaded him into this system. Further, 'it' is what allowed him to operate beyond the parameters set by the system and remember his primary target
- through the hole in the wall that BaT left is unfiltered code, and peering into it reveals the visible ongoing corruption of the system, both ruined rooms and occasional Tumps being visible
- the corruption leaks out through the hole just enough for it to be a little bit scary and warp exe's voice. This may also be why it opens fil 15 without our input
> 15. Superwholesome Tump π
- the room is dark and weakened, a scan says there is no Tump in the file, however there is something close by and approaching. We see eyes in the darkness before the Tump throws himself at Caen to hug her
- he knows us, and Tump.exe says that only 04 and BaT don't (of the ones purely based off Tump, presumably)
- Red stabs him a little bit, and we find he isn't bleeding
- he refuses to be pulled off of Caen, who is increasingly unhappy with the situation, while Red threatens him with the tiny knife. We decide here to 'drive him to terrible awareness' as it were
- he claims to be friends with Tex, who comes around occasionally and whom he could call for if we wanted. He has been asking to 'take bits' from him, which makes Red concerned about his wellbeing
- they decide to have the Tump summon Tex and see what happens if he is corrupted in his presence
- Tex appears, again bringing other Tumps with him as Red starts undermining SWS Tump's personhood
- he strides towards us, pushing the Tump out of his way who attempts to protect us, but before he can strike us, SWS Tump pushes him away again, even deteriorating as he is
- Tex makes quick work of him, halving him and possibly initiating the 'sacrifice state', then orders his pack of Tumps to hold us down
- we escape the grasp of death once again because the system suddenly jumps in to activate our exit protocol. As it starts up, the other Tumps sink back into the ground while Tex just stares at us before turning to feed on SWS Tump
- just before we get out, he too sinks into the floor, and we follow, as hands come up to grasp at us to pull us down. What remains of 04 once again makes a heart string tugging appearance before we are booted out of the file
> Menu
- 'Tex.. File.. Still stable. Correction. Tex file almost open.. File power level... 958%'
- Caen is angry at Red saying their plan worked as planned despite it almost getting them killed
- Tump.exe theorizes that Tex is powered by sacrifices, and plays classical music to accompany our infighting. Our security clearance is 16/12 and there are files available for our perusal
- the system presents 3 courses of action for how to deal with Tex:
- corrupting him in file 9, with the drawback of benefitting whoever is controlling him
- befriending 'a full code' to help. BaT would not be enough for this
- using the save file on him, as it might destroy the corruption he is overwhelmingly made of
- call out to the personalities within Tex, and hope that as the other Tumps reconstruct themselves it will make Tex crumble
- he reports that file 12, Le Tymp, has been moved into file 9 and begins to open it
β Level: 16. Sacrifices: 6.5
EXE2-4
β both file 9 and 14 now cannot be entered, leaving 12 the only option
> 12. C_____m__L____p
- we decide to take BaT in with us
- the file is an empty arena of sand, a lone white mug in the very middle. As we take a few steps the arena expands vastly, spike pits appearing at the edges, and turning from its original sandy colour to brown and then to red
- BaT decides to retrieve the mug despite Red's protests, effortlessly flying over the spikes and missing the pulsing brown/red veins that form on the floor under him completely
- the veins all converge on the mug in the middle
- bars start to go up around the arena, so before they block the entrance we step in and Red tackles BaT before he can touch the cup
- the ground returns to sand colour and stops pulsating, then we hear someone laughing in what BaT calls a 60a old man's voice
- Le Tymp calls us 'his dear players', and himself the king of coffee mugs and naturally, the big bad. We all immeditely start heckling him
- the ground begins shaking as the mug rises into the air and coffe pours everywhere except the arena itself (in the spike pits included)
- the coffee gathers into a ball in the air, pouring into the coffee cup and then beginning to form a very large Le Tymp
- he hurls a beam of lighting at Red, but BaT jumps in the way. Next he flings Caen, who'd been trying to edge closer for a better look, back into the bars at the edge with one arm
- he makes to crush her, but BaT distracts him with an attack and by screaming that tea is superior
- Le Tymp resolves into coffee again, revealing the mug once more, and lifts his arms, summoning minions
- Red makes a grab for the cup but doesn't get there before he finishes solidifying around it
- Caen takes a handful of sand and throws it into the cloud of coffee. This prompts him to change his hand into a sword and begin swinging for her
- BaT summons his teacup army, which is mostly equipped with swords, but there are also some with shields and bows. An armoured teacup steps forth, prompting a battle cry from BaT. He exclaims 'for tea', and the army begins to battle the coffee monsters
β Red steals one of their swords (again)
- emboldened, BaT shoots a beam at Le Tymp, which makes him and his army stronger, him bigger, and his armour tougher
- next, BaT summons a gigantic teacup named Timmy, which engages Le Tymp himself in battle. It's not doing very well, and the tea minions are also beginning to lose ground [haha get it like coffee grounds]
- one of the coffee minions kicks BaT in the balls
- since they're running out of time and struggling to put together a plan beyond 'get/destroy the mug', Caen walks right out into the battle and begins spitting into his coffee and screaming insults
- BaT summons lava which fails to turn the tide, and then Le Tymp gets the best of the giant tea cup, whose demise makes BaT so upset his next spell doesn't fail
- 'Tump raises from the ground, as his wings change colours, one of pure light now and the other dark as the night. Veins of pure crimson red flow through the wings, and all over his body. Lifting up slowly, a white aura surrounds his body'
- he begins to gather energy in his hands, manifesting as a ball of blue light. When he releases the attack, the light pops out of existence for just long enough that Le Tymp starts mocking him, before a ray of energy bursts from the ground right under him
- one arm emerges from the beam to grab BaT, but it is not powerful enough to hurt anymore. Le Tymp dissolves into burnt coffee, and when the mug at his heart becomes visible once more, it has a small crack in it
- Red takes the mug as he's monologuing and has a swig of the coffee, finding it to taste terrible
- he snatches his mug back to throw it through a portal, then dissolves himself and follows it. His last words to us are him promising that he will end us the next time we meet
- we /save BaT, who remarks that Le Tymp looked oddly similar to him
- the arena begins to crumble and we nearly get impaled by the spikes before the system drops us in a heap into the menu
> Menu
- by defeating Le Tymp, we have 'officially beaten' Tump.exe 2, unlocking file 14
- the system begins severely glitching, prompting us to restart and attempting to open file 9
- even after restarting the system keeps running into problems and begins automatically restoring files
- abruptly, we are dropped into complete darkness. After an agonizingly quiet wait we hear Tump's voice
- his shape can just so be made out by a dim light that appears, just enough that we can see him smile
- 'Rose I missed you. I finally found my way back to my dear friends. Now we can rebuild amino together. Now we can be happy. Now I can be with you all. Always.'
- Red recognizes him as 04
- as he talks he begins to cry, and the tears that make it to the floor make it ripple slightly, like it is liquid too, and they start tinting the floor a slight red
- red veins form quickly over the ground, bathing the room in red light. We hear footsteps all around us, closing in, the Tumps likely having been there even before we could hear them
- 04 steps forward and finally we can see all of him: there is a dark seam running down his torso and his arms are half glitchy, half torn away. The tears are flowing from two red puddles in what is left of his face, which is hardly anything above the smile. He is afflicted with raw white code and incomplete textures
- 'to...gether. Friends... Forever.. We can... Build.. We can.. Forever...'
- we can now see the figures around us, holding hands as best they can and all also crying red yet smiling. 04 continues to babble at Red, becoming more and more desperate. He is scared
- Bone Tump and YanTump open the ring of hands to make room for Tex, emerging from the blood red floor. They are all connected, and within him drift pieces of the others
- he steps up to speak: 'He awaits. It is soon to be done. It is soon to end. Soon, soon. Soon we will all be free.'
- upon his last words, the room starts shaking as the lights flash and the Tumps' code begins losing its shape even as the circle closes in all around us
- Tex reaches out and they all jump us... crashing the system. We wait in quiet darkness for it to restart
- 'Welcome to Tex.out your very own master with variable desires! I hope you and I will be together forever!'
- Tex.out's menu consists exclusively of '[Error file corrupted]'s, except for file 9, which merely says 'Tex'
- Tex.exe tells us 'come' and gives us the prompt to open file 9. We do not agree to but don't get a chance
> 9. TEX π
- Tump.exe is nowhere to be found
- we are in a long hallway of raw code that is constantly running by. Notably, it is blue red and green, and at times suggesting where there ought to be proper textures
- the room settles, revealing a floor white like marble and crimson walls shot through with black cracks in lichtenberg figures. There is no ceiling, just code and the ever repeating deaths of previous Tumps. At the end of the hall are a table and a high throne
- we walk closer, and from the walls emerge glitching figures in dark cloaks which bow down as we pass. Behind us, they get up and follow
- 'come forth now unless you really wish to suffer as that shitty code you made did'
- to Caen admitting they have no other way to go anyway, he says 'No where. I am your beginning, your life and your end now.'
- what's left of YanTump reaches out to stroke Caen's hair, prompting Tex to admonish it harshly. He calls it filth, and us /his/
- he states his intention to use us as vessels, and seems almost confused we aren't enthusiastic about this. Since he was created as code, he is excited to feel what being 'whole' is like
- the ceiling droops down to form him, for lack of a better word, until he stands before us as a very glitchy Tump, textures constantly jumping around. The notable difference are his unchanged eyes
- he decides Caen's body will be too 'bitchy', and turns to Red. Caen tries to keep his attention on her but to no avail. He shifts through his own table and grabs them by the throat
- Red attempts to stab him, but the knife disintegrates upon contact with him
- 'You are not here.. Well... Not really. Virtual reality. But.. from the inside.. You can still feel pain. And from here... I can take over.'
- the scene is interrupted by BaT flying into Tex to make him release Red and nigh crush him with the push of power. 'Let go of Rose you fucking bastard'
- he is aware, now, that he is Build A Tump, and not really 'the' Tump. He tells us to run while he holds Tex down, but doesn't get to tell us where to before Tex reaches up to choke him. He repeats his ominous 'Mine.' as his minions approach to aid him
- aT manages to remind us of the ways to defeat Tex the system suggested earlier. We abandon sacrificing him because he seems to like it
- Caen tries her best to summon another glass of water and only manages half full. It comes in handy when Tex gets free and jumps at her. She tosses the water into his open mouth, causing him to shake violently and become even more angry
- '... We need hosts.. But.. I suppose my master won't mind... IF I CONSUME THE ANNOYING ONE'
- while the other 'Tumps' block Red & 04's path to her, Tex advances on Caen. He drops the facade of a Tump, devolving into a writhing mass of code with a hungry mouth
- BaT throws a teacup at Tex, and he turns on him, flinging Caen across the room and seizing BaT. She sustains a head wound and passes out for a minute
- Tex taunts Red by talking about how incredibly satisfying it was to eat 04, and that he hopes BaT will be similar
- he specifically turns his prey towards Red so they will see. He is enjoying this greatly. 'Now.. Would be the moment a hero comes in and saves you.. Little Rosey. But guess what?'
- he tears BaT's stomach, the same way he did with 04. 'There are no heroes in reality.'
- meanwhile Caen is struggling to drag herself towards the now shattered cup BaT had thrown
- Tex laughs maniacally as BaT weakly objects to his taunts. 'Humans.. May be weak.. They may be cowardly and even pathetic in reality.. There isn't that kind of heroes with capes.. But.. Humans are not useless. There is still good. They can do so much good too.. And even under all that bad.. They are still beautiful. And.. They will always be better than you! Caen now!'
- BaT twists Tex' hand as hard as he can. Caen, who'd been creeping up behind Tex, rams the shard of porcellain right into where Tex' heart should be
- Red stabs him with their remaining knife also
- Tex' arm snaps, falling to the ground. It is implied that BaT has made him vulnerable
- from where Caen stabbed him, Tex starts bleeding code, and he is reddening and coughing up red code
- 'You.. How dare you.. You know what.. New plan.' He decides to just consume us here and now, disregarding his master's plan
- dark veins form on Tex, and the room dissolves again. It seems to be part of him somehow
- he looks at us in utter rage, his eyes like void
- while he is telling Red they will finally be able to see their dear 04 again (in eternal limbo), Caen starts painting a pentagram on the ground with her own blood. BaT encourages this and summons his teacup army for yet another distraction
- Caen draws a coffee bean in the middle of the pentagram and gathers the shards of the tea cup around it
- BaT is struggling to hold his own against Tex, injured as he is
- when Caen begins chanting something, the pentagram does indeed open a portal. She screams into it that Tex has been talking shit about his coffee, and this, too, has the desired effect
- a wave of coffee washes into the room, pushing Tex up against the wall
- Le Tymp takes shape, and Caen passes out again. His coffee monsters join the teacups and Red in fighting the glitching Tump remnants
- Tex mocks Le Tymp, goading him into an attack which he stops in its tracks with disconcerting ease
- BaT attempts to wake Caen, but instead she finds herself in a black void, presumably in her own head
- there is a small glitching box before Caen. Looking at it prompts what is left of the system to play her a message left for her by YanTump. He offers to help if she lets him back into this system, which he's been deleted from
- after weighing their scarily limited options, Caen decides to take the gamble
- YanTump falls from the skies to embrace Caen and assure then he may work for Plectum but would betray him for Caen any day
- he sort of pushes her into the ground, and she wakes, screaming, to BaT standing over her
- YanTump steps out of a portal behind Caen
- he calls Red 'Rosey' in greeting as the users banter
- he opens a dozen further portals through which different versions of him from 'all over the Tump.exe grids' emerge for backup. They all have knives
- he blows a kiss towards Caen, 'remember my dear C... You owe me one now~' and departs to join the battle
- Tex is visibly struggling against the onslaught
- BaT makes to join, but accidentally blasts himself apart. As he wasn't saved he won't remember this!
- in a desperate effort, Tex lunges for Red, who brings up their knife. Caen dives for them and gets them out of harms way for the small price of a knife in her shoulder and Tex scratching up her back
- Le Tymp grabs Tex and throws him through a wall and the yanderes coordinate for a finishing attack
- '..... And so.. I am consumed. I wonder... if I taste.. delicious.'
- standing on the broken body, YanTump rips a bit of code out of him and eats it. 'Well.. Once shit, always shit I'd say texy~'
- now he is torn apart, the room fades slowly. Le Tymp promises to end us the next time we see him and disappears. YanTump too swears we will see him again, then kisses Caen on the cheek for payment and vanishes as well
- all Tumps fade except for 04, partly restored by Tex' death. He removes his hood and says a tearful goodbye, then breaks into blue code which takes the shape of a butterfly before finally disappearing
- file 11 opens automatically
> 11. - - - - - - -
- the file contains a lush garden. There is birdsong and a man in a white suit tending the plants. He says to call him Pristum
- he created this garden, it 'reminds him of home'
- he picks a rose and congratulates us on defeating 'his Tex', who he apparently built out of broken parts of Tump. Originally his goal was to recapture Tump, but he 'got a bit greedy' seeing us follow him, plotting to use us to have a vessel outside the system again
- when Oscar & co forced him 'down here' he was trapped, but we could be his ticket out
- thus, he has the system freeze us in place
- apparently he's tried 150 times before to take over someone's body, and failed every time. He does not divulge what happened to those people/bodies
- with a security level of 9001, the real Tump enters the file
- he's been hiding from 'Pristum', though he mentions we blew a hole in where he was hiding earlier
- 'Pristum' tells him 'the original' misses him dearly
- knowing he can't defeat him here, Tump offers his body in exchange for our freedom. 'Pristum' is immediately taken with this idea, saying he will fit, and would suit 'even the original'
β Tump gives us a necklace with a blue stone in it, which is supposed to protect us as it did him
- 'Pristum' opens a portal, takes Tump's hand, and the two depart. He says something we cannot make out and waves to us. Then the portal closes behind them
- without 'Pristum's' influence, we are unfrozen
- the system put a tracker on Tump before Plectum's presence interfered and we folow his signature into Tump.exe 3
β Level: 16. Sacrifices: 6.5
βοΉ although not originally planned to be Plectum, his characterisation is consistent with exe3
βοΉ the real BaT not remembering the Tex fight and his security clearance could have tipped us off to Pristum pretending to be BaT in exe3
